What makes a study spot ideal for me is a place that will first and foremost allow me to do work, but also make studying feel less stressful. For me, the Ground Zero Performance Cafe fits the bill. While I certainly have places I go for some hardcore studying, for a day-to-day regular workspace Ground Zero is the best.

Ground Zero has it all: great mood lighting, good music, great A/C,  TONS of outlets, and big tables or couches depending on your mood. Better yet, GZ has food, amazing milkshakes, and great coffee. PROTIP: Bring your own thermos and coffee is just $1. All in all GZ has the optimal balance of resources and positive atmosphere that makes studying no hassle at all.

Additionally, Ground Zero turns into Sound Zero (get it??!?…) during Finals week, where they turn up all of the lights, shut off the music, and turn the place into a studying mecca.

Also, be sure to follow them on twitter to get updates on the latest milkshakes and what not!
