Saturday’s a rugby day! While I love all of the organizations that I am involved in at USC (and wrote about Engineers Without Borders last year),  I have been involved with the USC Men’s Club Rugby team since I began college freshman year. Through rugby I have made some amazing friends and been able to really augment my overall experience here at USC. Every fall semester is our  preseason period leading up to the regular season in the spring.

But beyond just practices and games, we also have many social events with the team and work out a lot together. I even got my current research position through a USC rugby alumni who graduated from a Master’s program a few years ago. All in all, I think rugby and sports in general are a great way to meet more people and create a more diverse overall and in my opinion enjoyable college experience.
