This spring break is (and has been) amazing so far!  My friend Allison from USC and I decided to come to the east coast and visit our friends at a few colleges.  We just got back from Providence, RI where we visited two of my friends from high school.  There ended up being a strange convergence of my high school friends, Allison’s high school friends, and USC kids in Providence.  It turned out that the people Allison and I both separately knew who went to Brown already knew each other at school.  So we had a great time checking out the campus and seeing our mutual friends.  We also went to the Rhode Island School of Design Art Museum and saw some pretty amazing paintings and sculptures.  One of our good friends from USC also happens to live in Providence and because he was home for Spring Break as well, we got to hang out with him at Brown.  On Saturday night we went into Boston to have dinner and shop around.  We got Cannolis at Mike’s Pastry, which were to die for, definitely the best ones I’ve ever tasted.

By Tuesday we were pretty tired out so we drove back to D.C. for Tuesday night dinner with the family.  We actually had my birthday dinner that night because my birthday is on Friday but I’m not going to be home then.  Tomorrow we’re spending the day milling around D.C. and Allison flies back home for the latter part of Spring Break on Thursday.  Once Allison leaves, I’m going to head down to Charlottesville to visit the University of Virginia.  Many of my friends from high school as well as my brother go to school there so that will be a great chance to visit them.  And before I know it, I’ll be heading back to LA to finish off the semester!  I’ve loved this small break from school but I’m excited to get back into the swing of things.
