It’s nearing the end of the semester and it seems like there’s so much to do and not enough time to do it.  I just finished my week from hell (2 midterms, 1 quiz, 1 lab due, and a take home test) and I still feel like I’m swamped.  I just hope that my pile of work to get done doesn’t interfere with all the fun things going on as the semester comes to a close.  Here are the things I’m looking forward to in the coming weeks:

1.  Mortar Board Presents: Last Lecture with Dr. Gene Bickers- This is a chance to hear Professor Bickers give a lecture as though it was his last opportunity to speak to students.  I’ve had Professor Bickers for Honors Physics for the past two semesters and I can’t wait to hear what gems of knowledge he has to pass on in his “Last Lecture.”  Check out the facebook event.

2.  Urban Nutcracker: A Mash Up-  I can’t wait to come support fellow Viterbi Student Ambassador Kristen Scudder, performing in the Urban Nutcracker.  It’s a nutty twist to the timeless holiday classic featuring six USC dance groups.  Check out the facebook event here.

3.  Midnight Release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1!!!!  (self explanatory.  I will be there 3 hours in advance, probably decked out in my best Gryffindor garb)

4.  Thanksgiving!

Hope I can survive all this madness…
