Ok I admit it. I’m obsessed with my iPhone. I’ve only had it for about a month and a half but I don’t understand how I ever lived without it. Being able to surf the internet and have your ipod and phone on the same device is pretty cool but the best thing about the iPhone are the apps. Here is a list of my favorite and most useful apps:
Words With Friends– This mobile game of scrabble keeps me occupied at all times of the day wherever I am. You can play against people you know or against random people as well as play multiple games at once.
Siri– This is a mini personal assistant on your phone. You can open Siri and speak a request directly to your phone such as “Where is the best Italian restaurant in LA for a reasonable price?” Siri will then search the web looking at reviews and prices to find you some great options to eat. It will even use your location to find the closest one to you.
Shazam– Ever been listening to a song and you can’t figure out what it is or who sings it? Shazam does just that for you. You can open Shazam and it will identify for you the artist and name of the song that is currently playing. This one has definitely helped expand my music library.
Chipotle– This app is necessary for any Chipotle fanatic like myself. With this app you can find the nearest Chipotle and place an order for pick up directly from your phone. No more waiting in long lines to enjoy Chipotle!
Cut the Rope– This is by far my favorite game for the iPhone (yes it’s even better than Angry Birds). The point of the game is to get a piece of candy into the mouth of this little green monster named Omnom. It starts out easy but gets more and more difficult as bubbles, spikes, electricity, spiders, and even gravity togglers come into play. This game is definitely worth the $0.99.
