As you may have read in Gavin’s post, Space Shuttle Endeavor flew around the Los Angeles area on it’s way to LAX. Well, this having been the last time EVER that this shuttle will be in the air, I wanted to make sure I got a good view. So, I climbed up to the top of a parking structure and camped out for about an hour and half with my friends waiting to see the shuttle enter the LA Airspace. And boy, when it flew by us, it was so close that I could take a decent picture with my camera phone (well, if you zoom in on it). Seeing this made me remember why I have always been fascinated with rockets.

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s Endeavour (on a plane)!

Seeing this made Friday go by a lot faster. The rest of the weekend was spent catching up on some TV (How I Met Your Mother), playing Mario Cart and Super Smash Bros. ( I won for the first time in like forever!), and, of course, doing homework. I did go to this really good Italian restaurant in Culver City called Ugo Cafe on Friday and then to the Panini Cafe in Downtown LA on Sunday. Definitely try it out sometime!
