Last week was awesome!

Things that happened last week to prove it was awesome:

1. My friend Kayla visited all the way from Wisconsin

2. A couple thousand students came and checked out Viterbi and I got to meet a ton of them and go on lab tours on a random rainy day!

3. I had THREE (3) thanksgiving dinners! One with the Associated Students of Biomedical Engineering, one with some friends from Colleges Against Cancer, and one with my friend Kierstie from San Diego!

I will now enumerate on those awesome points with a photo blog!

This is Kayla, from Wisconsin. She says "bag" the same way I say it 😛

My friend Kayla came into town the Friday before Thanksgiving and we hung out and had a great time! It’s always great to see friends from home (escaping the snow!). We were first going to eat at local favorite Jacks N Joes (great pancakes!), but the line was too long. Then we went to another local favorite (The Pantry), but THAT was too crowded too! So we took advantage of the fact that LA is awesome and did a spontaneous trip to Santa Monica!

Santa Monica is for sure the pier Rocket Power was based on. Also that scene in Despicable Me

We ate at a random little restaurant which I will eventually review on Yelp!

We also walked up and down the nice 3rd street promenade (great shopping, great people watching!)

Later that night we went to the first of my 3 thanksgiving dinners with the Associated Students of Biomedical Engineering!

We also watched the football game on a projector!

Tasty Food!

Sweet Potatoes!!!! YUM!

The next morning was Discover USC & Viterbi Expo! It was tons of fun!

Read Soumya‘s Blog!

Unfortunately, somebody has to be the bad guy and pop all the balloons :'(

That night I had my SECOND thanksgiving dinner with CAC people! It was too delicious to take pictures during. Sorry! We watched the AMAs, which was fun!

On the wednesday before thanksgiving, I headed down to San Diego to visit a friendWe visited an awesome beach!

We also watched every episode of American Horror Story and played some Just Dance 3, but these pictures are the most beautiful things produced on the trip, haha

We also played a card game known as "3 Card Menard" in Wisconsin, though most places call it something differently. These are the house rules!

Overall it was a great week! Between driving Kayla to and from LAX, as well as my sister, I got really used to this view

It's the view from the 105 as you merge with the 110 coming from LAX to LA, and it's a cool view of the city! Might as well look at something cool while stuck in traffic!

I'm I'm a junior majoring in Biomedical Engineering (Electrical) at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, with a minor in Video Game Design & Management. ----- I am from Hartland, WI, which is a nice little town that is a lot different from Los Angeles! ----- Follow me on Twitter: @IAmWolfman ----- I am the chair of mentoring programs for the Associated Students of Biomedical Engineering (viterbistudents.usc.edu/asbme/), and I am the president of Colleges Against Cancer (trojancac.org), which is the club that plans USC's Relay For Life, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. That basically sums up how I spend most of my free time, haha. Other than that, I love to play video games (which counts as productivity now that I have the minor!) and I am specifically fond of Dance Dance Revolution and I always have a standing open dance battle with anyone, anytime. Fun and nerdy, that's my style.
