However, this is not a normal playlist of regular music, but it is comprised of all my favorite playlists that I have been listening to.
This is for everyone! People that listen to podcasts daily to people who have never listened to a podcast in their life. Well for the latter group, welcome to your introduction of podcasts. The reason I love podcasts is the multitude of topics that are covered in a passive learning method! So here we go with the list.
1. Revisionist History Hallelujah
For music lovers who enjoy Malcom Gladwell’s interesting narrative will come to love how a “hit” becomes a popular phenomenon. Following a song many of you guys have heard, “Hallelujah”, it goes through the twist and turns that a song must go through to become the popular song we hear on the radio.
2. Revisionist History: Carlos Doesn’t Remember
Another awesome podcast by Malcom Gladwell that discusses the opportunities or lack of them that certain kids run into. If you wanna be angered and frustrated with the education system then this is perfect for you.
3. How I Built This with Guy Raz: Patagonia: Yvon Chouinard
Check out any of these podcasts if you are interested in entrepreneurship and seeing how companies came to be from first hand perspectives. Learn about how Patagonia is slowing down expanding their company or how Vice News came from a small newsletter in Canada.
4. Song Exploder: Alaska by Maggie Rogers
My friend Jacob showed me this one and I thought you guys would like this one too! These podcasts talk a lot about the inspiration behind the music and how the sounds were made. If you like music then you will have to check it out.
5. This American Life: Summer Camp
This brought me back right to camp. Some of my fondest memories from high school were going to summer camp with my friends. Hearing about camp rumors and the traditions make you want to go back to that little cabin you shared with your closest friends.
I think if i finished this blog post without mentioning the Viterbi Podcast, Rhea might be very angry at me.
