Amidst schoolwork, quizzes, and tests, it is nice to get out and take a deep breath during the weekend. After a long week including a Calculus 3 test, Comp Sci C++ assignment, and homework for all of my other classes I decided to relax for the weekend. Saturday was game day as we watched our Trojans bounce back and defeat Berkeley. We are going to work our way back up in the rankings!

I also got a chance to see my mentor, Rudy Loera, who assisted me in acquiring my internship at Northrop Grumman this past summer. Frank Flores, the VP of Engineering for Northrop Grumman, was also there and I got the opportunity to have a conversation with him. It is amazing how strong the Trojan Family is and how humble and successful Viterbi Engineers become. I am blessed to be associated with this Academic Institution.

Also, for those of you who have not gone, The Los Angeles County Fair in Pomona is still running until this weekend so if you are feeling like having a turkey leg and getting on some pretty cool rides you should swing by!

I had a family day there where my parents, siblings, and I got to get on some exhilarating rides, eat some great food, and take pictures with a young Boa Constrictor named Frederick.

USC’s location gives you countless places to visit and enjoy on your off time. No better place to study Engineering than Viterbi! Fight On!
