Hi everyone!

As my senior year has started I’ve been spending more time on campus between classes, trying to make the most of my time and do some homework in between. Since the weather has been so nice lately, my new favorite place to do this is the Engineering Quad, which was just redesigned this past summer.

The E-Quad is great for many reasons, but mainly because it’s right in the center of my engineering classes, not to mention beautiful. Check out the old Engineering Quad:

I did love the old fountain. But take a look at what the new E-Quad looks like!

I love the E-Quad!

I love the E-Quad!

As you can see, not only is the new fountain and E-Quad amazing, it also has many new lounge areas and tables to eat and do work on a nice day in LA. I’ve spent many of my recent afternoons hanging out in the E-Quad doing reading for my classes, and it’s been a very conducive place to study. It’s also a great place to meet with students and project groups, especially for my grad class since the class is held right behind the E-Quad in OHE.

E-Quad is traditionally where the Viterbi graduation is held, so I can’t wait to graduate in our gorgeous new E-Quad this coming May. The E-Quad is also the center of activities during E-Week, which is my favorite week of the spring semester. In the past we’ve had food trucks, a moon bounce, petting zoo, and lots of other fun activities to do in the E-Quad. Can’t wait!

When the weather gets a little colder, I love to study in Doheny library, and also my sorority house. If I need to use my laptop and outlets, I usually go to my sorority because there are tons of outlets (not to mention snacks!) in our dining room.

Until next time,

Natalie
