Hi everyone! When it comes to choosing my favorite student organization at USC, I can never really decide. I love being a member of SWE (read my blog on my involvement with SWE here) and I’ve loved playing club lacrosse at USC (read more about that here). But coming off of Big/Little Reveal week at USC, I think it’s only fitting that I write about my other favorite organization, my sorority Gamma Phi Beta.
As I mentioned this past week was Big/Little Reveal week for Gamma Phi. I got another little this year, so I spent the week leaving her clues and small gifts around the house, until Friday night when we dressed up in matching pajamas and I sent her on a scavenger hunt to find me in the house!
So excited for @GammaPhiBetaUSC big/little week! Can't wait to surprise my new little this Friday #ViterbiPlus

Here’s a picture of me and my littles, Erica and Brenda and my grandlittle Shannon!
I joined Gamma Phi Beta as a sophomore and it was one of the best decisions I have made at USC. I have met some of my closest friends through my sorority, and I know we’ll be friends for many years to come. While I have never lived in my sorority house, I spend the majority of my time there, either eating meals, studying, or hanging out with my sisters. Other than just daily activities, I love our philanthropic focus, Building Strong Girls, which I find incredibly important. Our philanthropy events, which include our annual handball tournament Crescent Classic (which is this week! Stay tuned for updates), French Toast Feast, and Have a Heart dinner also benefit USC’s Troy Camp. This organization works to building confidence in the children that live in the area surround USC.
We also prioritize our academics:
Not to mention, our social activities are pretty fun! Check out one of my favorite pictures from our annual spring invite, Gamma Phi Luau:
I also love exploring LA with my sorority sisters! Check us out at The Color Run!
And of course, we love gameday!
I know I can always count on my sorority sisters, whether I need a advice, a study buddy, a friend to explore LA, or anything in between. Joining Gamma Phi has really made my time at USC special, and I don’t know what life would be like without it. If you think Greek life is right for you, I encourage you to check it out!
