This semester I have a little more free time than I’ve had in the past so I’ve decided to use that time and explore Los Angeles and go to more events at USC. This is the last time my friends and I will be living in the same city for a while, so we’re trying to make the most of second semester senior year. This week I took a trip to the Ice Cream Lab in Beverly Hills, which has the best ice cream I’ve ever had.

My friends and I even caught a USC basketball game this week! I love watching college basketball but have always had other commitments that conflicted with the USC games. I’m glad I finally got to go! Hopefully I’ll be able to catch a few more games this semester.

The highlight of my week was definitely going to the Ice Cream Lab. I’d only been there one time before over the summer with Kat and a few other Boeing interns, so it was definitely time to go back! Since it’s the beginning of the semester my group projects are just getting started and I don’t have as much work to do each night as I will later on.

 

What makes the Ice Cream Lab special is that each ice cream order is made individually by instantly freezing the ice cream ingredients with liquid nitrogen! Take a look at them making my ice cream in the video below.

This time I ordered the Mulholland Mint Chip and it was amazing. I’ve also tried the Salt Lick Crunch, Honey Lavender, and  House of Blueberries. Every flavor is incredible and so fresh! While Beverly Hills isn’t far from USC I definitely wish there was an Ice Cream Lab on Figueroa that I could walk to!
