If you asked me before college “Where do you see yourself living in a few years?”, I would have probably said “Alone, with my own bathroom, maybe a nice view of Downtown LA”. I would not have said living with 70 of my friends in a sorority house. I moved into my sorority house at the beginning of junior year, so for an entire semester now I’ve dealt with the random and fun nature of living with so many people.

What I love about living-in is that everyday is a new adventure. Some days we go sunbathe on the roof, and other days we spend the night studying in the dining room. There are Harry Potter marathons and dance parties and sometimes the music coming from outside gets in the way of your afternoon nap.

I think that some people hear those things and are automatically repulsed, and other people hear those things and think that sounds like the best thing in the world. I totally agree with the latter, this is the most fun living situation I’ve had throughout college! I would do it again and again. Social events are always going on downstairs, my best friends are two steps away, and there are snacks in the kitchen.

If you ever consider joining a sorority, definitely try to live in!
