Hey everyone! Finals week is in full swing now, and I’m taking a quick break to look back on this amazing semester! It feels like just yesterday everyone moved in and was getting used to their new courses… time really does fly when you’re having fun! I’d like to share some of the highlights of my semester, so let’s get right to it!

1. Taylor Swift 1989 Concert!

This was the first thing I did way back on the first day of classes this semester! I have to say, I could not have started my semester on a better note! It was so last minute, and yet another incredible reminder that I am so lucky to be here at USC and in LA!

  2. Exploring more of LA Whenever I get a free weekend, I’m always itching to get out and go to new places in LA! Several of my friends also have cars, which makes transportation even easier! A few weekends ago, my friends and I decided to drive to Palos Verdes right in time for the sunset, which was absolutely beautiful! I’m a fan of the Hunger Games franchise, so a trip to LA Live to see the last movie was a must!

3. Friendsgiving

I really love staying over Thanksgiving Break, because it always means Friendsgiving! There’s something really special about spending such a special holiday with some amazing friends and delicious food, and this year was no exception!

4. Football!

I wasn’t the biggest fan of football coming into college, but I’m pretty sure I’ve caught the football fever! The energy at the games is just so contagious that I can’t help but love the Trojans!

5. Viterbi Expo

I have to give a shout-out to the Viterbi Expo, because it was definitely such a fun event and so exciting to see all the interest in Viterbi! It really brought me back to when I was looking at colleges and figuring out what I was interested in!

This is just a quick snapshot of my favorite moments of this semester! Now it’s back to studying for me (for now), and I hope everyone has an amazing Winter Break! As always, Fight On!
