This week begins a long stretch of exams for me, and although I’m trying to take it one week at a time, looking at my calendar of midterms, papers, quizzes and reports seems daunting. This week a lot of my engineering friends and I have been trying to lighten the mood by coming up with the best enginerdy jokes we can. Here is a sampling of my favorites thus far.
1. What type of bear dissolves in water? A polar bear!
2. An experimental physicist performs an experiment involving two cats, and an inclined tin roof.
The two cats are very nearly identical; same sex, age, weight, breed, eye and hair color.
The physicist places both cats on the roof at the same height and lets them both go at the same time. One of the cats fall off the roof first so obviously there is some difference between the two cats.
What is the difference?
One cat has a greater mew.
3. An engineer was crossing a road one day when a frog called out to him and said, “If you kiss me, I’ll turn into a beautiful princess.” He bent over, picked up the frog and put it in his pocket. The frog spoke up again and said, “If you kiss me and turn me back into a beautiful princess, I will stay with you for one week.” The engineer took the frog out of his pocket, smiled at it and returned it to the pocket.
The frog then cried out, “If you kiss me and turn me back into a princess, I’ll stay with you and do ANYTHING you want.” Again the engineer took the frog out, smiled at it and put it back into his pocket.
Finally, the frog asked, “What is the matter? I’ve told you I’m a beautiful princess, that I’ll stay with you for a week and do anything you want. Why won’t you kiss me?”
The engineer said, “Look I’m an engineer. I don’t have time for a girlfriend, but a talking frog, now that’s cool.”
4. And finally, what I wish my physics exam was going to look like on Thursday
I thought you were kidding about writing this blog… but I’m glad you did! 😛
A+ would read again
Thanks guys haha these really do help me get through my week! =)
