Hey Everyone!
First just want to mention how incredibly excited I am that we beat Stanford this weekend!! It was hands down the most exciting game ever, and the spirit and energy were absolutely amazing. Coming off that victory, I have a busy and exciting week ahead!
On Monday, AIChE (which you can read all about in my blog here!) is hosting an information session with Fluor! I’m really excited to learn more about this company and continue working on networking! Info sessions are great ways to meet company reps and learn about what the companies have to offer.
On Tuesday, I’m going to a very special event at USC where George W. Bush is coming to speak on campus. USC always has interesting speakers on campus, and I’m very excited to be able to attend this one.
On Thursday, the dance company my roommate is involved with is having their fall show! I’m really excited for this because I used to dance in high school and I love watching the shows and how talented everyone is. My roommate has also been practicing a ton, and I know it means a lot to her, so I can’t wait to see all her hard work pay off!
On Friday, I’m going to Korean BBQ with AIChE. I haven’t had Korean BBQ since I was in Korea this summer for iPodia (check out Cassandra’s blog about our trip!), so I can’t wait to get my fill of bulgogi and kim chi. It will also be a great time to relax from the week, hang out with all my chemE friends, and have some fun!
Finally, on Saturday I’m participating in USC Friends and Neighbors Day with Order of Omega. We are going to spend the day working with Ability First , which strives to provide services to help children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities reach their full potential with their lives. I’m excited to spend my day helping others and really making a Viterbi Impact!
It’s definitely going to be a busy week, but I’m excited to have so much to look forward to!
