My Favorite Places in LA (cont.)

Hey guys! Last year I started a Yelp account to review some of my favorite places in LA. I just added a few more of my go-to restaurants, shops, and places of interest. Here’s a preview of some of my recent reviews:

Malibu Lumber Yard

taking a break from shopping on the outdoor patio

The Malibu Lumber Yard is a great place to grab lunch and go shopping with friends, especially on a sunny day. This outdoor shopping mall includes stores like Tory Burch and Alice + Olivia as well as bakeries such as Crumbs and ChocolateBox Cafe.

Larchmont Village

lunch with my future co-workers at ConocoPhillips

I love coming to Larchmont  for their delicious sandwiches made fresh at the deli counter. My favorite is the #5: proscuitto, mozzarella, arugula, extra virgin olive oil, and balsamic vinegar on ciabatta. All the ingredients are incredibly fresh!

La Sandia

dinner in Santa Monica at La Sandia

La Sandia in Santa Monica is an upscale mexican restaurant with beautiful decor and located right next to the Promenade. I had the Ancho Seared Tuna Salad with tomato, orange, avocado, pumpkin seeds, and radish was different but absolutely delicious.

Hiking at Griffith Park

hiking with girls from my sorority (and attempting to make a giant kite--Theta's symbol)

Go to the park on a clear day–the view from the hills down to the city and the ocean is beautiful! There are lots of uphill hikes, so you’ll get a great workout…and the scenery (looking up at the Hollywood sign) is a bonus!
