With only one exam left standing in between me and summer vacation, I’m both sad to be leaving USC and excited to start my internship in Houston, Texas at ConocoPhillips.
For the last few weeks I’ve been apartment hunting with another intern, and we finally found a great 2 bedroom apartment in the heart of the city. Since neither of us are from Texas, we can’t wait to explore the city and go on a few roadtrips to Austin and Dallas to visit friends from school.
I’ll be working at ConocoPhillips headquarters, located just outside the city, starting in June. As a Commerical intern, I will be assigned a summer-long project focusing on one of the oil divisions, such as crude or natural gas.

But before I head out to Texas, I will be spending a week in Akumal, Mexico with my mom and sister. Since Akumal is known for sea turtles, we’ve already planned a few snorkeling trips during our vacation.
Since I’ll be busy this summer traveling and working, I’m going to sign off until school starts again in August. Have a great summer!
