With finals behind me, I’m finally back home in Georgia for 3 weeks of winter break. It took me 25 hours to get home yesterday because the ice in Atlanta not only delayed by flight for hours, but it also shut down many of the ramps to get on the highways. My parents couldn’t even get our car down the driveway from all the ice, so I ended up staying a night in a hotel near the Atlanta airport. I am not used to all these winter-related problems anymore; I miss California already.

Despite my long journey back go Georgia, it is so nice to be home with my family and friends. I can’t wait to go look at all the Christmas lights and decorations in our neighborhood and curl up with a cup of coffee at my favorite coffee house in town, Land of a Thousand Hills. I already helped decorate our house over Thanksgiving break so that the Christmas tree and stockings would be ready for my return this month. Check out our Trojan ornament I hung on the tree!

Since I am going to be busy with Christmas festivities over the next few weeks, I’ll be signing off until January. Until then, have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
