Last night, my sorority held a movie screening on our lawn for everyone to relax after a long week of midterms. We made popcorn and put out blankets on the grass, and it was exactly what I needed to de-stress after this week!
Not very surprisingly, the movie we played was The House Bunny. I had actually never seen the movie before, but I loved it! I thought it was hilarious, and it was only fitting that I was watching it with all of my sorority sisters. The movie was also partially filmed at USC, which was something that I didn’t know. It was so cool recognizing parts of the movie as where I walk everyday!
I love when Gamma Phi has events like this because they are the perfect place to relax and bond with some of my closest friends. This week sort of marks the end to “midterm season,” so this was the perfect timing for all of us to sit down and let our minds unwind while watching a funny comedy that we could all relate to.
Now, I am de-stressed and ready for this weekend! It’s Trojan Family Weekend, and my brother and parents are getting in tonight. I am super excited to see them and to go to the football game with them tomorrow. It’s going to be a great end to the week!
