When thinking about my favorite organization here at USC, one in particular comes to mind, my sorority, Alpha Delta Pi. I joined ADPi looking for a sisterhood, and that is exactly what I have found.  The women I have met through ADPi are some of my closest friends and will continue to be once I graduate.  They all are such incredible people and truly inspire me to be the best I can be.

One of my favorite things about ADPi is getting to support our national philanthropy, Ronald McDonald House Charities.  RMHC is an organization that provides a home away from home and support for families of children fighting illnesses.  Each semester we have two big events that raise money for them as well as we get to go and help out at the house in Pasadena. Our major fall event is a dinner on our lawn, and our major spring event, Row Cup, is a soccer tournament.  In addition to raising money for RMHC through these events, we have gone to the house to decorate for the holidays and have participated in their Walk for Kids.  I love being able to support my community alongside my closest friends.

Beyond philanthropy work, we definitely put an emphasis on academics and being involved on campus.  Over half our house is a member of Trojan Scholar Society and one of my sisters was even awarded the Greek Valedictorian Award for having the highest GPA of all those involved in Greek Life at USC.  Also, on campus, my sisters and I are collectively involved in over 100 different organizations, some of which are even founded by ADPis.  Their commitment to these wonderful organizations and academics is definitely one of the ways these women inspire me.

We also find some time to have some fun together!  Whether it is a night in catching up or a night out at one of our invites and exchanges, we love spending time with each other. Here are some of my favorite pictures from these nights!

Overall, ADPi has been such an amazing part of my life here at USC, and I don’t know what I would do without the wonderful women I have met through it.

Until next week,
