Hey Everyone,

I can’t believe this semester is almost over… But I guess it’s not completely over yet! Classes are done, but finals are still on the horizon! Looking back, I can’t believe how much has happened since August. Here are a few of my favorite accomplishments….

1. Learning a lot in my (really cool) classes! I took four engineering classes this semester, and AME* 441: Senior Design Project, was so much fun that it usually didn’t even feel like a class. Completing my project has felt like such an accomplishment! Check out the videos below to see it up-and-running!    *Aerospace & Mechanical

My now-completed AME senior design project: a glider launcher, to be used by future Intro to Aerospace students (as it looked on 11/21/12).

2. Meeting new people. Even as a senior, I’ve met so many new people on campus! Through my classes, my sorority, and friends-of-friends.

Hanging out at my sorority’s philanthropy event, AXO All-American, benefiting Domestic Violence Awareness. I met two of these great girls just this semester.

.
3. Travelling! I visited upstate New York on a job interview and had another interview opportunity in Arkansas. I also visited San Francisco for the Weekender! It’s always great to visit new places and re-visit past favorites. New York was definitely a first for me, and it was great to visit SF again!

The Weekender is the annual away game at either Berkeley or Stanford in NorCal. We toured San Francisco the day before the game (including Ghirardelli Square!). [See Steve and Chandler‘s blogs about it, too]

4. Keeping up with family and friends. I was fortunate enough to have my family visit over Parent’s Weekend, and they even got tickets to go to the football game versus Colorado.

My mom and I at a tailgate on campus before the game.

…I’ve also made sure to save plenty of time to hang out with sorority friends and even girls from my Freshman dorm!
