Hi everyone! Well, today was the last day of classes…I can’t believe how fast this semester went! I still feel like I just got back from winter break! Anyway. These last couple of weeks I’ve been saying goodbye to all my friends who are seniors. It’s really hard to say goodbye to so many good friends. But on the bright side, everyone I know who is graduating has a very bright future ahead of them, and I can’t wait to see what they will do with their lives.
This semester was one of my best. I’ve been incredibly busy (I actually got to sleep in for the first time all semester on Tuesday). But I’ve had a wonderful time with everything I’ve been doing. Some highlights of my semester:
Getting a little sister in Helenes:
My water polo team winning 3rd place in our division:
Having my research accepted to be presented in Chicago and Philadelphia:
My research with CHLA is officially complete! Can't wait to present my research at an INFORMS conference this summer! #ViterbiResearch

Attending the Annual ISE Banquet:
And finishing it off with a spontaneous decision to walk to the LA Memorial Sports Arena for a “The Killers” concert last night!
I’m sad that this semester is coming to a close, but I have some really awesome summer plans that I’m really excited about! In a couple of weeks I’ll be traveling to South Korea for my iPodia class with Cassanda, Steve, Gavin, Zach, Lyssa, and Vlad. We already got to meet the students from South Korea when they visited us at the beginning of the semester, but I can’t wait to meet all of the other students that I have been collaborating with from Peking University, Aachen University, and Technion University. I’ll be in South Korea for about 2 weeks, and then I’ll return home.
I’ve also secured an internship for the summer! I’ll be interning at The Boeing Company as a Finance Intern at El Segundo. This is perfect for me, because I’ve been really interested in going into finance, but my background is in engineering and I am still very much interested in that at well. So, what could be better than a finance position at an engineering company! I can’t think of anything! Plus, Natalie will also be working there over the summer so I’ll be able to see her! Really excited for that!
Well, that about wraps it up for me! Finals are coming up this week so for now I’m just studying! Wish me luck!
P.S. My new favorite song is “Mirrors” by Justin Timberlake!
