Hey everyone! I cannot believe the fall semester of my sophomore year is already coming to an end. I hope you have enjoyed all of my blogs so far. Since this semester has been so fun-filled, I thought I would give you my top 10 memories.

1. Bid Night

Bid night was one of my favorite nights of the semester! My Pi Phi sisters and I got to welcome 75 new members to our family. We had cotton candy, burgers, and a pink candy bar which made for a great night. Nothing beat the all-girl dance party on the light up dance floor. I can’t wait for next year to welcome even more new girls to the sorority.

2. Fall Pep Rally

The Fall Pep Rally was a great way to kick of the fall sports seasons! All the teams came out and passed out give aways and free pizza! I also really enjoyed the performances given by the Song Girls and Dance Team. The rally just reminded how much I love the school spirit at USC!

3.  Big-Little Reveal

After a week of little gifts and poems, I finally got to reveal myself to my two littles on Big-Little Reveal. We all went to a venue dressed in our matching 80’s themed costumes and had a great time dancing the night away. I was so excited to get to welcome two new members to the family!

4. Luau Invite

The night following Big-Little Reveal was one of my favorite events of the year: Pi Phi’s Luau themed invite. All the girls dressed in bright colored dresses and our dates wore Hawaiian shirts. We started out taking a bus to in-n-out for dinner and then went to the venue where we danced and socialized. I had a great time with my friend, Nick and can’t wait for our next invite!

5. Internship at Providence Medical Center

A big day for me was the start of my internship at Providence Medical Center. I was hired as an Operational Excellence Intern in the Operations Department. It was a great way for me to learn more about healthcare and work on different projects. I can’t wait to see what this internship has in store for me in the next couple months!

6. Parents’ Weekend

One of my favorite weekends of the year is Parents’ Weekend! It was nice to get all my friends’ parents together and grab dinner in the city. We also were able to go to the Pi Phi tailgate where we indulged in burgers and pies.  Nothing, though, was better than watching the football game with my dad. We had such a great time rooting on the Trojans!

7. ACTIVE Retreat

A couple weekends following Parents’ Weekend I took part in the ACTIVE field trip. ACTIVE, Achieving Change through Inspiring Values and Education, is an outreach club where USC students mentor students at a nearby second chance high school. Bringing the high school students to USC’s campus was a great way to take a day off from tutoring and have some fun! For a lot of them, it was their first time on a college campus, and they learned a lot. I am so glad we were able to show them why we all love USC so much!

8. Arrowspike

Another great event that my sorority hosted was our fall philanthropy, Arrowspike. It is a volleyball tournament that all of the fraternities play to raise money for literacy. I had so much fun coaching Pi Kappa Phi and met so many new people. It felt good working with my sorority sisters for a cause!

9. Phi Kappa Psi Vegas Invite

Later in the semester, I was invited to Phi Kappa Psi’s invite in Vegas. It was a great weekend of lounging at the pool and hanging out with friends. I also really enjoyed touring around the city and seeing all the bright lights at night. What a great get away from schoolwork!

10. Storming the Field

One of the most amazing moments of this semester was when we stormed the field at the Stanford game! It was so exciting to beat the #4 team in football. I had never felt so much school spirit and pride as I did in that moment on the field! Fight On!
