Hi everyone! I hope you enjoyed your Superbowl Sundays! What an ending to the game! This week on my blog I wanted to talk a little bit about my living experience freshman year. Moving away from home is a new experience and I got my first taste of it in Trojan Hall on campus.
Trojan Hall is a dormitory located near the corner of campus by Figueroa and Exposition. It is right next to the most delicious milkshake place on campus called Ground Zero. It was fun being able to walk right outside my dorm for a nice midnight treat. I also was in walking distance from some great restaurants off campus. Some of my favorites were Chipotle, Pizza Studio (build your own pizza joint), Chik-fil-A, and Built (build your own burger place). Whenever my friends and I wanted a quick bite to eat other than the cafeteria we would stroll over to these places.
Trojan Hall itself was only three stories tall. The first and the third floor were for males and the second floor was for females. I lived on the second floor with my roommate, Taylor. We were a random pairing but it worked out great! She is still one of my best friends at USC after almost three years. Our room consisted of two twin beds, two desks, two dressers, and two closets. It was nothing overly fancy, but it was just enough! We lived comfortably and loved being able to meet all of the other girls in our hall. I miss here!
Living on campus was one of the best experiences I had at USC. It was so convenient to walk to class in 5 minutes or less. Be sure to check out the rest of my blogs for more of my experiences as a Trojan! Fight on!
