Hey everyone! I cannot believe this semester is already winding down to end. Before we head home for Christmas, I wanted to give you a recap of my 10 favorite memories from this fall.

1. Moving into Pi Phi

Before this year, I was always very reluctant to live in my sorority house. A house full of more than 60 girls seemed like a lot to take in. After deciding to give it a try, I do not regret it for a second. It has been one of the best experiences for me, allowing me to get to know so many more girls! I also have grown a lot closer to all of my roommates and cannot wait to live with them again next year.

2. Going to the weekender

A fun weekend I had was my trip to the weekender at Stanford. Not only did I get to explore San Francisco with my friends, but the Trojans got the win! It was a weekend for the books.

3. Turning 21

Another fun weekend trip was with my family and friends in Las Vegas. We all got together for my birthday and enjoyed the wonderful weather and attractions.

4. Game Day with my family

I am beyond grateful that my family only lives twenty minutes away. This season, they were able to attend almost all of the games. It was so much fun to share my school spirit and love for USC with them!

5. Viterbi Trek

I also was lucky enough to take part in Viterbi Trek, a Viterbi networking trip to San Francisco. My classmates and I visited Yelp, EA Games, YouTube, and AirPR. It was very helpful to hear executives’ stories and see what the workforce looks like in San Fran.

6. Arrowspike

A fun event that my sorority hosts every year is called Arrowspike, which is a volleyball fundraiser. I used to play volleyball in high school and am grateful I can do what I love while also raising money for a cause!

7. Beginning my internship at SoCal Gas

Just this November I began working as a senior engineering intern at Southern California Gas Company. I have already begun learning some great skills and cannot wait to see what else I am exposed to in the coming semester.

8. Disneyland

I am lucky to have a roommate who works for ABC, since she gets tickets to go to Disneyland! She took me for my birthday and we had a great time. We loved the parade and all of the exciting rides, especially Cars.

9.  ISE 370 Design project on store checkouts

I just completed my ISE 370 Design Project which consisted of evaluating and proposing design solutions for a store self-checkout. It was great to work with other students in a collaborative setting while also learning about anthropometrics and lifting requirements.

10. Becoming VP of housing for Pi phi

Now that this year is winding to an end, I have been inducted into the executive board of my sorority for the next year. I already have begun some of my training and am anxious to play a larger role in my house.
