Nothing beats going to school in the heart of Los Angeles!  Whether it’s traveling around downtown, to the beach, to the mountains or even exploring NorCal and neighboring cities like Las Vegas and all their activities and national parks, there’s never a dull moment at USC.

I wanted to go to a school that allowed me to explore and not only learn and study inside the classes but immerse myself in another culture.  And that’s just what I did this past spring break!

Last week the prime location of USC allowed me to go to a bunch of the beaches from Santa Monica to Venice to Manhattan to Hermosa.  At each I got to take in the sun enjoy the California weather and eat good food.  With friends we walked along the shore, shopped at the boutiques and took some awesome pictures.

The break wasn’t over yet though.  Just a two hour drive from San Diego, I went down for a day trip for a day of Phil’s BBQ and Extraordinary Desserts.  After more beaches and shops we headed back to campus.

Finishing break off in Vegas–another easy (slightly longer) drive to make, I couldn’t have asked for a better spring vacation with several getaways all in a drives reach.
