It’s Superbowl Sunday, obviously, so I’m gonna keep this short. And while I’m normally a Packers fan, I have to say, since I am from NorCal, GO NINERS!
For the game today a bunch of friends are getting together at a house down the street from us. There should be tons of food and, with some luck, a 49er’s win!
Anyway, this semester has been great so far. Students from KAIST University, South Korea got here a week and a half ago, and we’ve gotten to hang out with them all around Los Angeles. Some of the highlights have been hanging out around Santa Monica, showing them around USC, and even going to Disneyland! It’s been a great experience learning from the Korean students and being able to share our culture with them.
Another awesome thing that happened last week was getting to meet the acclaimed astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson after he came to speak at USC’s Bovard Auditorium. His lecture was great, stressing the significance of STEM education, and getting to speak with him afterwards was the coolest thing that has happened to me so far this year.
Gotta go watch the game! Go Niners!
