Having a campus in the heart of Los Angeles presents plenty of places to go to get off campus and have some fun. Besides all the theme parks, there are many attractions that are unique to the Los Angeles Area! Check them out below:
Santa Monica Pier
Besides going to Santa Monica for the beach, the pier is another option for a fun time. The pier contains rides and attractions, like a roller coaster, ferris wheel, and arcades, as well as restaurants, an aquarium, and even a trapeze school!
LA County Fair
Taking place for 4 weeks every year, the Fair contains all kinds of attractions, like carnival rides and games, petting zoos, a concert series, pig races, shopping, and unique food (like a Krispy Kreme burger)! The best part is every year there is a USC day, where USC students get in for free by just showing a school ID!
Located in San Dimas, Raging Waters is California’s largest water park! The park contains tons of slides and rides, a large wave pool, and a practice surfing machine where you can perform tricks on a boogie board!
Hollywood Walk of Fame
You can’t think of Los Angeles without thinking of Hollywood! Located about 20 mins from Campus, the Hollywood Walk of Fame is located on the main drag of Hollywood and contains sidewalks lined with brass stars dedicated to the greatest actors and actresses. It is always fun to walk around and find your favorites actor’s star!
