Hi everyone!
Hope your week is going well. This week I’m going to tell you about one of my favorite things to do in Los Angeles – go see some live music. So far this year I have attended/am planning to attend three concerts, and they’re at some pretty amazing venues.
- Miike Snow (Shrine Auditorium/Expo Hall) – The Shrine is a venue right across the street from campus. They have lots of concerts and events going on, including Diplo, Arcade Fire, and many more. This past week, my brother called me up right before Miike Snow was about to go on with an extra ticket for me. Luckily, I live about a 5 minute walk away.
- Bon Iver (Hollywood Bowl) – In a few weeks, I’m going to one of my favorite venues in LA, the Hollywood Bowl. It’s outdoors and has a beautiful view at sunset. Another perk – the sound throughout the whole place is amazing, even in the cheap seats.
- Panic! At the Disco with Saint Motel and Misterwives (The Forum) – In March, I’m going to go see a concert at the Forum for the first time since its been renovated. It’s a bigger arena-style venue, but it’s also a really cool building that’s part of LA history.
That’s it for me this week – I hope you all got an idea of one of the many fun things you can do while exploring the LA area!
