Hey everyone! First off, I’m gonna apologize for the awful humor used in the title. Second off, summer is almost over, and in only five days I’ll be returning to the land of sunshine and celebrities that is Los Angeles. With summer winding down, I just wanted to share with all of you my daily summer schedule.
7:15 a.m.- Wake up, lay in bed questioning everything, give myself fifteen minutes to contemplate going back to bed.
7:45 a.m.-8:00 a.m.- Wake up, get ready, leave my house.
9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. -Ride my horses. This is something I’ve been doing since I was 8, and being able to ride horses this summer has been awesome. I’m constantly trying to break the “weird horse girl” stereotype, but with the title of this blog post I don’t think I’m doing so hot.
1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.- Hang out in my house, watch my nephew (I might be biased but he is the cutest baby ever), catch up on homework, labs, and study for my summer school class.
4:15 p.m.-10 p.m.-Leave and go to summer school. This summer I’m taking physics at a community college to transfer over to USC so I don’t have to take the class during the school year. I would HIGHLY suggest summer school to anyone who wants to pick up a minor and might not have room in their schedule to do so OR anyone who has a class that might not be their forte. In my case, both apply to me. I’m currently in the Chinese for the Professions minor, and physics has never been my strong suit. Being able to take it this summer has been AWESOME because I can put all my energy into that one class.
Well, there you go. That’s been my schedule this summer. It doesn’t seem like much, but this summer has been so much fun, and gone by so quickly. I’ve been traveling, attending concerts, and reconnecting with old friends. While I’m gonna miss Chicago weather and people, I can’t wait to go back to USC and have another year full of memories!!
- Trojan family 2,000 miles away from USC
- such an ~artsy~ photo of one of my horses
- Me and some of the people I ride horses with! peep the USC shirt lol.
P.S. Sorry I don’t have any super cool summer school photos… as much as I know you all want to see photos of me studying physics in a windowless room in Des Plaines, IL.
