With all exams done and final grades received, we can finally relax and take a breath. This semester has been nothing short of a marathon, with new assignments being piled on right after the last one was completed. While it is nice to have a break, I do somewhat miss the structure my life had during the semester. After a week of catching up on lost sleep and binging Netflix, I wonder what I am going to do with the rest of my 8-week long break?

Luckily, with this free time I have been able to keep busy with my positions in USC clubs. As a co-captain of the Design-Build team for the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) and the Structural Captain of the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI), I have important roles in both of these clubs and therefore need to stay updated on meetings and the circulation of information. Both of these clubs center around a competition against other collegiate teams, and as those competition dates loom closer, our teams have begun preparing and practicing so we can do our absolute best.

Otherwise, I’m enjoying the rest if my time finding new tv shows to watch with my dad and enjoying gingerbread cookies. Happy Holidays everyone!
