This past weekend I went to USC’s spring music festival, hosted by USC’s Program Board. Program Board, or PB for short, has many different branches and hosts many awesome events on campus. We’ve had various awesome speakers come to campus – just to name a few, we’ve had Joseph Gordon Levitt, Rainn Wilson (Dwight from the Office), Bill Nye the Science Guy, Eric Stonestreet (Cam from Modern Family).
One of PB’s branches is the Concerts Committee and they are in charge of the Welcome Back Concert in August, Conquest later on in the fall, and Springfest.
They had a bunch of great artists performing this year. I was more interested in the hipster-y bands like Capital Cities and Walk the Moon, but they also had A-Trak, Big Sean, Mix Master Mike (Beastie Boys) and Travis Barker (Blink 182).
Aside from the artists performing, there were also companies with booths there handing out free swag. I got a free American Apparel shirt, along with TONS of free Odwalla bars, and snap peas. Program Board was also giving out free iPhone sound amplifiers.
It was so fun and I had such a great time! I love PB and USC!
