Hi Everyone!

After living in LA for almost three years I feel like I have explored quite a large amount of the city. Some of the places I haven’t ventured out to as much are the nature escapes just outside of LA. Last weekend I went to the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve where, because of the insane amount of rain we got this year, the poppies were in full bloom. It was honestly one of the coolest sights I have seen in a while and it is crazy how it was just a day trip about an hour outside of USC.

This past weekend I went on an E-Board trip with USC’s Corpus Callosum  to Joshua Tree National Park. It was an awesome experience to get to know more people in the club and to road trip out to the desert for two days. We left Friday night and came back Saturday so it was a super short trip but it was very cool to see the Joshua Trees and channel my inner Lorax!

Joshua Tree!
