Last weekend a bunch of us from my Engineering iPodia class decided to go on a hike to the Hollywood sign.  I was really excited because a lot of people have done this hike and I’ve heard many great things about it and had really wanted to go. The day started out pretty cloudy and we were all worried we might not even be able to see the sign when we got to the top.  But the weather ended up being perfect.  It wasn’t too hot which was nice and the fog cleared just as we got to the end of the trail.  The hike to the top was fairly easy as it was mostly a paved road.  There were some opportunities to be more adventurous and follow some more natural trails on the side of the mountain.  I’m definitely planning on taking my residents to this hike later in the semester.  After taking some fun pictures on the hike we headed back down to get lunch.  We ended up going to In N Out in Westwood (since the Oscar traffic would have been really annoying) and then get Diddy Reese ice cream sandwiches for dessert.  Overall it was a really fun day and it was great to get to know my classmates better.

Below are some pictures we took while on our hike.
