Welcome to a new semester!

After a fun winter break, I’m happy to say that I’m really excited for the classes that I’m going to take this semester.

One class I’m taking, Medical Electronics, applies many of the concepts from my Linear Circuits class (that I took last semester) to medical devices. It’s cool to finally connect some different aspects of engineering to the medical field.

I’m also taking Organic Chemistry B and Writing 340: Communication for Engineers. These classes are pretty standard; I expect a challenge from OChem B and a break from math/science with Writing.

The class that I’m most excited for is BME 410: Tissue Engineering and Biomaterials. Taught by Dr. Megan McCain, who happens to also be my PI, this class deals with the details of the extracellular matrix, cell components, and their interaction. I look forward to learning more background knowledge for what I do hands-on in the lab.

Outside of school, I’m having a great time being on the e-board for Southern California Indo Americans. We have a semester full of fun plans for our members!

This semester will be another difficult one, but I look forward to the challenge!
