This spring break is the first one I’m spending away from home. I was a little worried I would be thoroughly bored all week but so far my break has been surprisingly fantastic! On Saturday, 3 friends and myself took a spontaneous trip to Vegas. We stayed at the beautiful Palazzo on the strip. It was only a one-night two-day trip but we tried to cram in as much as possible. We ate sooo much good food. I had a buffalo burger for the first time at the Palazzo, tried Korean chicken (delicious!) at the California, and went to an amazing buffet at the M. The trip was basically a workout for my stomach :p . Saturday we did some shopping at the outlets, walked down the strip, and watched the new Treasure Island show (I don’t remember it being so… risqué lol). On Sunday we spent a couple hours relaxing by the pool. Vegas was the perfect start to my spring break. It was so nice to relax and completely forget about school for a while. I’ve spent the last 2 days just relaxing and cleaning. Doesn’t sound like much but I’m loving it. Today my family is coming from Arizona to visit me. Since I’m not going home this year, home is coming to me. One of my friends from high school is also coming to visit on Thursday. She’s heard great things about food in LA so we’ve put Syrup Desserts, Katsuya, and Ketchup on the agenda. I’ve never been to Syrup Desserts or Ketchup but they sound really good. Check out Kristen’s review of Syrup Desserts.
Have you been to any great places in LA? Let me know!
Hope you are enjoying your break as much as I am!
