Hey everyone! Senior year is officially in full swing! I’m taking 5 classes this semester: Project Management, Planning and Scheduling, Simulations, Software Engineering, and Industrial Engineering Senior Design. The senior design class is grouped into team of 4 and then matching with a company in the Los Angeles area to consult for them for the next year. My team was matching with Amazon! Amazon has a huge shipping warehouse in Carlsbad (by San Diego) and our team is in charge of optimizing the scanning process to reduce the bottleneck in the overall system. I’m super excited to visit and get to work on the project!

Cucamunga Hike over Labor Day weekend
My Project Management class is basically teaching me what I learned this summer at Splunk as a Product Manager Intern. It is still a very interesting class and I like that I now can couple the formal principles with my experiences. The class project for that class is creating a plan to create Micro Nuclear Desalination Plant on the coast of Los Angeles and I need to figure out all the specifics of organizing that entire process.
Most of my time this semester has been spent organizing LavaLab, a student incubator that I’m on the board for. Right now all the groups are just finishing up the ideation phase of the curriculum and finalizing their idea for the semester. I’m really really excited to see what each group makes.

Weekender game against Stanford with Aneesha
I’ve also been having a lot of fun and living it up for my senior year. I went up to the Weekender where USC played Stanford and have fully taken advantage of what LA has to offer with frequent ramen trips and hikes in Angeles National Park. I seriously can’t believe this is my last year at USC and I’m stoked to make it the best one yet.
