This past summer I interned at Guavus, a big-data analytics company based in the Bay Area. I had an awesome time getting to know the ins and outs of a pretty complex and booming industry, but I wouldn’t have had the chance without USC.

I was pretty nervous going into the interview, but it happened to be that the manager who I would be working for went to USC for graduate school! We immediately started talking about USC and all the new buildings and places to eat and the football games and it really lightened the mood and allowed me to relax before the questioning began. It was so awesome to get started on a positive note before the interview and to feel comfortable because we already knew we had something in common.

When people say that the Trojan Family is for life, they really aren’t kidding and I had an incredible time working with a fellow Trojan this summer!
