Hey guys! I hope you all have had fun-filled weeks! I cannot believe there are only a couple more weeks left of this semester before summer. A fun event that the USC Concert Committee coordinates every spring is Springfest. They put together a day full of talented performers and attractions for students to enjoy. Springfest 2014 took place last Saturday, and I had a great time. I thought I would tell you a little more about why Springfest is so great.
So I don’t know about you, but I really enjoy listening to music sometimes when I study. I wish I could listen to music while I read… However, it makes it much more difficult to focus on what I’m reading . Nevertheless, I still enjoy listening to music while I am working on homework that involves more computation. I always seem to have certain go-to albums or songs when I’m studying, and I thought I would share them with you guys!
Last week was E-Week, a week full of different activities that celebrate engineering! The first day was a kick off carnival that was full of different carnival games! For the first time in my life, I won a balloon popping game! I was very excited to say the least. Another fun event was the Viterbi Talent Show. From a beat-boxing clarinet player to a couple singing a mash-up of Disney songs, the night was full of hidden talent. But my favorite event of E-Week by far is Viterbi Ball!
Hey everyone! We are another week closer to spring break. Even though I have been swamped with midterms and papers in the last couple of weeks, I was able to take a break and go to Pi Beta Phi’s invite called Beaux and Arrow. It is Valentine’s Day themed and so fun! I wanted to tell you a little bit about how it went this last weekend.
One of my favorite parts of living in Los Angeles is having access to so many fun restaurants, great shopping, and concert venues! This month I was able to go see Imagine Dragons, one of my favorite bands at The Wiltern!
Hey everyone! I hope you have had another productive and fun-filled week! The very entertaining Grammy Awards just passed last weekend and I was lucky enough to see Macklemore live in concert just three days prior to the big event. This is one of the main reasons I love LA – great music and great venues!
This semester has flown by! It is hard to believe Thanksgiving is over and finals are right around the corner. So many things have happened to make this semester truly memorable. Below I have listed some of the highlights from my semester, Enjoy!
Since I am not from the Los Angeles area, I made it my goal to do as much exploring of LA as possible while at USC. I have not even seen half of what I would like to see in LA, but from what I have seen, here are some of the highlights!
