Right after finals last semester, I  jet-setted off to Utah where I got to visit two national parks! I had never been to Utah before, and I've wanted to visit for as long as I can remember .

I even let my boyfriend/personal photographer tag along! (He also studies mechanical engineering at USC...both beauty and brains, folks!)

Our first day in Utah, we visited Arches National Park. We did a lot of hiking and got to see a ton of cool red rock formations.

That night we went back to the Park to see the Geminid Meteor Shower which was amazing!

On our last day in Utah, we went to CanyonLands National Park! We did a really amazing loop hike in Upheaval Dome (which is a massive crater in the ground, thought to have been caused by a meteor strike).

I had such an amazing time in Utah, and I am so glad I got to visit for a few days! And afterwards I got to spend the rest of winter break at home with my family. It was definitely a break to remember!
