Loic’s Guide to Spring Break

Spring break is arguably the best out of all the breaks during the academic year. Thanksgiving break happens right before finals, so many students decide to sacrifice their free time to catch up on learning and finish up projects. Winter break is excruciatingly long and cold for some, and unless you can afford a trip to Bali, good luck. Spring Break however, is usually during a sweet spot in the semester in between midterms where you can afford to not focus on classes, but also the weather is in a sweet spot where it’s warm and sunny but not too warm.

Typical Spring Break trips include:

Going Home! Many people travel to visit family and friends in their hometown. This is a nice way to have a relaxing and wholesome break.

Staying in LA! You won’t have to pay for any transportation costs, and you’re already in one of the best places in the world for a vacation, how convenient.

Camping! Many people take road trips to one of the many nearby national parks for a fun excursion out in nature. The weather is perfect for these kinds of trips during this time of the year

College Spring Break Destinations! There are plenty of cities closer to the equator that host thousands of college students from all over. Examples include Miami, Cancun, Rosarito, Cabo, etc.

Whatever sort of spring break you decide to embark on, I hope you have the time of your life and many memories, while staying safe!
