Disneyland Halloween!

I love Disneyland! Who doesn’t, really? But although I’ve been to Disneyland many times before, I’ve never been during Halloween season. This Sunday I got to go to Disneyland with a friend and it was so much fun! I knew it was going to be a good day as soon as we got to the parked and went through the ticket turnstiles. My friend was wearing a USC band shirt because she plays flute in the marching band. The cast member taking tickets stopped us and asked if she was actually in the band and when she said yes he yelled to everyone that he had met a celebrity! He shook her hand and yelled “fight on” at us as we passed through the turnstiles to enter into the park. I can’t think of any better way to walk into Disneyland!

It was a beautiful day! Warm enough to ride Splash Mountain, but not so hot as to be uncomfortable. We rode pretty much all the rides, and I loved how some of them had Halloween changes! Space mountain had spooky projections and videos throughout the ride, which was really fun. The Haunted Mansion was decked out with Nightmare Before Christmas decorations, and Mickey and Minnie were wearing witch hats and robes!

I had a great time, and I love how easy it is to get to Disneyland! It’s only about a 40 minute drive from campus, so it’s not a hassle at all to go. I’ll definitely be going back soon!
