For many students, exercise can be one of the most important parts of their routines. Whether you were an all-star athlete in high school and want to stay fit, or are using college as an opportunity to try some new fitness regimen, chances are there is something on campus for you! Working out is a great way to de-stress, stay active, and even do something fun with friends. Here are some of the most popular places where Trojans like to break a sweat.[/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row no_margin=”true” padding_top=”20px” padding_bottom=”0px” border=”none”][vc_column width=”1/3″]
- The Lyon Center: Located at the Northwest corner of campus near many of USC’s athletic facilities, this full service gym is the most popular center for Trojan fitness. It has everything from machines and weights to racquetball and basketball courts to a climbing wall. It even holds popular group exercise classes like Yoga, Kickboxing, and Zumba.
- Swimming Pools: Both the outdoor pool at Daland’s Swim Stadium and the indoor pool in the PED building provide hours for students to swim laps in a free swim recreational format. Swimming is especially great for those who want to get in shape without putting a lot of stress on their joints.
- Cromwell Field: Housed within the Loker Stadium and home to the USC Track and Field teams, this field is almost always open and is used by many levels of athletes, including the football team, intramural ultimate frisbee teams, the club ice hockey team, and many more. The track is also open to anyone who wants to run some laps.
