Thanksgiving Break

Thanksgiving break was so great!  Since I have family here in LA I didn’t go home to Colorado, but stayed at my aunt and uncles house.  It was so nice to be able to spend Thanksgiving with my aunt, uncle and cousins.  At home my dad usually makes Thanksgiving dinner and my sister and I make dessert.  So this year I offered to make dessert, and my pumpkin crumb cake and mini apples pies were a hit, if I do say so myself.

The break was great because I pretty much did absolutely nothing all weekend and I don’t remember the last time I slept in so late.  I also got to do some early Christmas shopping on black Friday with my aunt and younger cousin.  I didn’t go too crazy this year, getting in line super early.  But the lines for the register were still all the way to the back of the store and we tag teamed by getting in line early and taking turns shopping.

But now it is crunch time.  We have one more week of school and then two weeks of finals.  It’s time to start doing some practice problems and getting my study groups together. Just got to get through the next 3 weeks and then it’s time for winter break!!!
