This time of year is hardly any fun for a student planning on applying to colleges and universities.  Choosing between great schools, trying to decide which one you like the best, and dealing with your parents’ first choice…. this can get a bit complicated.

You try to get good information. But sometimes university websites, blogs, college confidential, and even people you may know at each school don’t really help as much as you would hope.

While we do our best in keeping our website full of information, blog updates, and tweets flowing – I know you need more.  I know you are trying to find out if you can actually see yourself here.

See Yourself Here

This year’s group of Viterbi Student Ambassadors

You should really check out Viterbi Voices.  Viterbi Voices is a fantastic site developed and run completely by some of our current Viterbi students.  There are 24 students (representing practically every engineering major) blogging on a daily basis.  Tweets coming in by the minute, and videos about their lives every few weeks!  Check out their latest video “A Day in the Life: Steve” below- Steve shows you his complete day in a very cool, stop-motion style from the moment he wakes up, to the moment he goes to bed:

In the near future, they will be holding live web chats where you can interact with them live, online as they broadcast a Google+ Hangout On Air.  You can also email them directly, or follow them on Facebook, Google+, and Pinterest!

Honestly, this is some great stuff, I read it every day…. such a great way to see whether the USC Viterbi School of Engineering is a place you would enjoy spending your college years.

Paul Ledesma

As Executive Director, Paul oversees Undergraduate Admission for all programs at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering. He was born and raised in southern California and is a lifetime Dodgers fan. He enjoys traveling (Italy may be a second home), discovering new restaurants in LA (tacos anyone?), and while he may not qualify as a bonafide movie-buff, he loves movies (especially comic book movies). He studied Psychology for his bachelor's degree, minored in Public Management, and was active in leadership for community service groups Troy Camp and Dance Marathon while attending USC. When he's not working he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and rescued pup and kitty in Redondo Beach, CA. (well, maybe not the cat so much) Preferred Pronouns: he/him/his
